Asset Groups

The Asset Groups support file enables you to create a list of asset groups that you can be used to classify assets when recording them in the system. These should be adopted by the organisation as the main asset groups for all the assets that are recorded at Accounts/Assets/Asset Register.

In Loan Performer you can add, modify or delete asset groups as explained below.

How to add asset groups

To add an asset groups you go to Support Files/Asset Groups and a screen like the one below shows up:

Note that the Group ID is automatically added to each new group.

Note that the above created Asset groups will be available at asset registration under Asset Register Details. The user while registering assets can place all similar assets under one asset group as seen below:

Click on the Add button to add the asset group and this will appear in the scroll space. Repeat this for all possible asset groups.

How to Delete\Modify an Asset Group  

To delete\modify an asset group you go to Support Files ->Asset group and a screen like the one below shows up:

From the list of the displayed asset groups in the scroll space, click on the group that you want to delete\modify. The variables for the selected group will be displayed in the Asset Group text box, e.g., "Movable Assets".

To modify the asset group, make the necessary changes and click on the Updatebutton. To delete the label click on the Delete button..

You can click on the Print command button to view\print the Asset Groups  and keep them for future reference.

Click on the Close button to exit the menu.
